Hamad and Ali were a Pop Art duo who enjoyed presenting the Arab culture and history through their contemporary vision by using digital art base and mixed media on canvas in attempt to create their own principle, No Rules, in their artworks.
Coming from two different backgrounds, Hamad and Ali found a common ground through their collaboration that bridges all cultural and political differences between east and west proving to the world that art strips all conflicts to bring creative minds together. They were best known for presenting the Arab culture and history through their own contemporary vision using pop icons to speak to art viewers. Because popular culture is something that almost everyone can identity readily with these days, this approach has become one of the most effective means of communication.
Lahd Gallery presented them to the London art scene in 2011 with Hamad & Ali: Pop Icons. The duo are now no longer working together.
